Well, no.
We love Agave Matchmaker (formerly, Tequila Matchmaker). In fact, they are one of our partners.
But they are a database. The definitive source for tequila production data and reviews. And then they occasionally create articles about tequila.
The Tequila Report is the reverse. We are a magazine FULL of interesting articles about tequila that also has some reviews.
The same way that Rolling Stone doesn't review every album, and Wine Spectator doesn't review every bottle of wine, The Tequila Report will never review every single tequila. But we do want to bring you reviews of bottles that are interesting, novel, new, and worthy of commentary in some way.
That’s why our team of twelve experienced tequila reviewers are so important. Their opinions and scores help shape the tequilas that we recommend to you.
