Yéyo High Proof Blanco was created through the collaboration of master distiller Sergio Cruz, distillery owner Sergio Vivianco, and brand owner Jon Bullinger, who came together in 2009.

Bullinger fell in love not only with tequila, but also with the culture, the people, and the process behind it.

Made in the Highlands of Jalisco, Yéyo High Proof is bottled at 48% ABV, giving it plenty of depth and flavor.

Yéyo uses Champagne yeast, and during fermentation, it adds 5% agave fibers to build additional complexity.

Fermentation lasts more than 190 hours, with classical music played throughout the process to keep the yeast happy.

Nose: Minerals, agave, pepper, citrus, and tropical fruit.

Flavor: Agave, pineapple, mango, minerals, and cinnamon.

Finish: Buttery and creamy, with notes of spice, grilled pineapple, agave, and white pepper.

This high-proof blanco is a nice addition to the Yéyo lineup. Yéyo is known for its unique barrel finishes, but this is a solid, true expression of what a high-proof blanco can be without any barrel influence. It lets the agave speak for itself.
