Tequila Volteo is a fairly new brand. Its marketed as a luxury tequila. The bottle is unique and designed to draw attention.
The brand was developed in partnership with Zamora Company USA (which is perhaps best-known as the maker of Licor 43) and launched in 2024 with Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott as a founding investor and partner.
Volteo says they want to change the status quo and up the game of the premium and luxury tequila brand categories.
Aroma: Sweet agave, fresh lime, minerals, malolactic funk with a mild cheese note, hay, earth and white pepper
Flavor: Begins with agave, mint and citrus up front. Followed by pepper, cinnamon, minerals, slight malolactic funk, earth, hay and minerals. Nice cooling mouthfeel with a finish of honey, pepper and mint.
If you are looking for a nice looking bottle to display or if you like a bit of funkiness in your tequila this is one to check out.
