Teremana is a modern tequila brand introduced in 2020 by Dwayne Johnson in partnership with Mast-Jägermeister.
Produced in the highlands of Jalisco at a dedicated distillery, Destilería Teremana De Agave, (NOM 1613) built specifically for its production.
Since its launch, Teremana has scaled rapidly, expanding distribution across the United States and into multiple international markets. Its growth has positioned it among the faster-growing and most popular tequila brands in recent years, supported by broad retail availability and a strong global presence.
Nose - Sweet, vanilla, nice barrel spice, pepper, cake batter, vanilla icing, caramel, agave, chocolate and pepper.
Taste - Very sweet start. Cotton candy, caramel, vanilla icing, barrel spice, agave, honey, cherry, pepper and thick coating on the tongue.
Somewhat short finish that is cake batter and cinnamon.
This is a popular brand in the market and does well for the masses, but this would not be an option for people who are fans of more traditional tequila. The Reposado and Blanco are better - if not great - options, and seem to feature less flavor adulteration.
