Paladar Still Strength Blanco is an additive-free tequila crafted from seven-year estate-grown Blue Weber agave.
It is made at the legendary El Llano distillery (NOM 1109), in the heart of tequila town. This is also where Arette tequila is crafted.
The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, fermented in open-air pine boxes using wild and proprietary yeast, and double-distilled in copper and stainless steel pot stills. It is bottled at still strength (50% ABV / 100 proof).
The nose opens with vibrant aromas of fresh-cut agave, citrus zest, and white pepper, backed by a noticeable mineral character reminiscent of wet stone.
On the palate, the tequila is rich and creamy for a high-proof blanco. Cooked agave leads the way, supported by green pepper, vegetal notes, and a subtle hint of unripe pineapple that adds brightness.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering agave sweetness, peppery spice, and a touch of anise and minerality. An expressive, agave-forward tequila built for fans of bold, high-proof blancos.
This tequila is worth seeking out!
