Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM is the house brand for Destiladora del Valle de Tequila (NOM 1438) which currently produces 226 different tequila brands.

It is a family-owned distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco that specializes in private label development, bulk tequila supply and global export solutions. They claim to proudly serve clients in more than 50 countries.

For this house brand, they use agave from the Valley and the Highlands. The agave is cooked in hornos and autoclaves. They ferment in stainless steel. And they use stainless steel stills.

There are aromas of bright green agave, crisp celery and some white pepper with some sweet vapors.

I taste fresh cut agave, white pepper and some sweetness that’s slightly cloying. Even though the sweetness might be enhanced artificially, the overall flavor is rather clean otherwise.

This is an easy blanco tequila to sip, and it would be good in cocktails if you’re looking for something mellow and sweet.
