Bandero Tequila was founded by entrepreneur John Paul DeJoria, best known as the co-founder of Patrón Tequila and John Paul Mitchell Systems. Since its launch, Bandero has positioned itself within the modern premium tequila category through bold branding, celebrity influence, and a strong connection to contemporary tequila culture.

One of the brand’s most recognizable features is its distinctive round bottle wrapped with vegan leather straps and rivets, inspired by traditional huarache sandals associated with the Jalisco region of Mexico. The design has become a defining part of Bandero’s visual identity, helping the brand stand out in an increasingly crowded tequila market.

Nose is a little light but pleasant. Aromas of sweet agave, honeydew, dry soil, citrus, lilac, anise, honey, black tea and white pepper.

On the palate, like the nose, it's light but pleasant. Notes of cooked agave, anise, black tea, honeydew, sprite, white pepper, orange zest, wet soil and cinnamon.

Nice viscosity with a medium length finish with notes of honey, celery, mint and fresh flowers.

This blanco has a light profile and may get lost in cocktails but could be ideal for someone new to blancos.
