Reposado tequila is having a MOMENT.
By far the fastest-growing tequila expression, reposado is becoming the go-to for experiencede tequila fans, new fans, bartenders, restaurant owners, and retailers.
Possibly because the variety of flavor profiles across the reposado category are broader than for blanco or añejo. After all, a 2-month aged reposado is likely to taste much different than an 11-month reposado.
Thus, reposado offers something for nearly everyone.
Late last year, we asked Tequila Report readers (then, Tequila Jay Baer readers) to vote on their favorite tequilas. More than 1,000 of you did, making this the largest independent poll of tequila preferences available.
Here are YOUR Top 10 favorite reposado tequilas:

$66.99 (Insiders save 10%)
4. Cazcanes

Making use of proprietary water and expert barrel blending, this #7 (40% ABV) Cazcanes reposado spends 11 months in ex-whiskey barrels and then is aerated for softness.

3. G4

Fast-growing reposado expression from El Pandillo in The Highlands is becoming a go-to in many bars and restaurants due to its pepper + citrus flavor and reasonably pricing.
$49.99 (Insiders save 10%)
2. Fortaleza

Once Fortaleza blanco hits the barrels, magic happens. Aged 7 to 9 months in used bourbon barrels that are re-chipped and re-charred before filling, each Fortaleza reposado batch is a bit different. Look for the LOTE number on the back of the bottle to keep track. Hard to find in many parts of the USA.
1. Tequila Ocho

Fan-favorite reposado that combines citrus and honey flavors, but maintains a lot of blanco-ish character due to the very short aging of this Ocho expression (just over 2 months). Note that each batch of Ocho reposado is made from agaves from a specific plantation, so they all taste a bit different. Pay attention to the name of the Rancho, written on the front of each bottle.
