El Tequileño Gran Reserva Reposado is one of those tequilas that quietly reminds you why traditional production still matters. Made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave from Los Altos, this expression is aged a minimum of 8 months in American oak and then blended with 18-month añejo, creating a beautifully balanced profile that never loses sight of the agave.
On the nose, you get cooked agave, honey, caramelized pear, vanilla, and a soft touch of baking spice. The palate is creamy and comforting, showing caramelized agave, light toffee, vanilla, macadamia nut, and a hint of white pepper. The finish is long, warm, and velvety, with lingering agave sweetness and gentle oak spice.
This is a reposado that drinks with the depth of an añejo but the freshness of highland agave. A high-value, classic sipping tequila that deserves far more attention than it gets.
