With Master Distiller Sergio Cruz and Master Blender Óscar working together, you really can’t go wrong — especially from NOM 1580, where the focus is still on hands-on production and honest agave character.
This reposado opens with a bright, inviting nose of citrus and tropical fruit, layered over cooked agave, light oak, and a hint of warm cinnamon. On the palate, it’s rich and balanced — roasted agave sweetness leads the way, supported by toasty oak, cinnamon spice, and just a touch of dark chocolate rounding it out. The mouthfeel is smooth without losing structure, and the oak never overshadows the agave.
The finish brings a gentle lingering spice, with that cinnamon-warmth that slowly fades rather than snaps away.
Beautifully layered, vibrant, and refined — a reposado that shines neat, no need to hide it in cocktails.
