Espéralo embraces a clean, additive-free taste.

Made from just three ingredients-water, agave, and yeast, this tequila leans into tradition while still carving out its own identity.

The agave is slow cooked in a traditional brick horno, allowing deep, natural sweetness to develop. From there, it’s crushed using a roller mill and fermented in closed stainless steel tanks without fibers, preserving clarity and precision in the final product.

Where Espéralo really sets itself apart is in its distillation. Using a hybrid approach that blends stainless steel and copper stills, the process is designed to strike a balance between purity and character. The result is a blanco that feels both refined and expressive.

Produced at NOM 1107, Tequila El Viejito, in the Highlands of Jalisco, Espéralo carries the signature traits of the region. That Highlands terroir shines through with a citrus-forward profile, layered with minerality and a vibrant agave backbone.

Bottled at 40% ABV, it’s versatile enough to enjoy neat while still having the structure to elevate cocktails. The quality is absolutely amazing for this tequila’s price point.

Nose: Baked agave, citrus, lime zest, minerals , slight cinnamon, touch of mint to round it off.

Taste: Agave sweetness, white pepper, vegetal-green pepper, lime.

Finish: Cinnamon and white pepper helps it have a long finish, that I love.

Currently available as a Total Wine exclusive in both 750ml and 1.75L formats, Espéralo Blanco is more than just a random pick, it’s a bottle worth seeking out. The quality is absolutely amazing for this tequila’s price point.
